I’ve always been intrigued by the combining of function with form in producing results that advance our execution of daily personal and business activities. This led me naturally to a love of web design/development. I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t fascinated by and deeply engaged with new media.

In 2003, I relocated from Virginia to Houston, Texas to further my pursuit of educational and career goals in associated academic and industry disciplines. The years since have been a time of incredible growth and opportunity, as well as significant professional advances.

By the end of 2007, I returned to the DC metro area and couldn’t be more excited living and working in my native region. The summer of 2008 brought my first international work-related travel, in which I administered IT equipment, services and monitoring during an election observation mission in Mongolia. I currently work in higher education, where most of my professional experience lies.

In addition to pursuing my web career, I have an endless passion for Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). My MMA commentary and coverage can be found at 6th-Round.com. I was last credentialed as press at UWC 8 in Fairfax, VA and plan to continue my sports writing hobby.
